Woodridge Cops Share Cookies, Read Stories With Kids At Library

Woodridge police read cookie-inspired stories allowed and shared sweet treats with kids on Tuesday.

WOODRIDGE, IL --- Woodridge police shared stories --and cookies-- with kids at Woodridge Public Library as part of the library's first Cookies with a Cop event. Dozens of kids and parents attended the special event on Wednesday to kick off the start of 2019.

Members of the police force read aloud from books that were inspired by the theme of "cookies." They also answered questions from the audience full of children.

The whole crowd broke into smiles as the officers passed out cookies (and even ate some themselves!)
