Woodridge Encourages Its Residents to Thank a Police Officer This Thanksgiving

Thank-you notes will be shared with the officers at the department's annual awards banquet.

Submitted by the Village of Woodridge

Policing is tough and an often underappreciated job. This holiday season, the Village of Woodridge is encouraging residents and businesses to recognize the Woodridge Police Officers who have gone above and beyond in their service to the community.

If you know an officer who has made a difference in your life, please recognize him or her by submitting a thank-you note with the officer’s name and a description of the occurrence by December 31, 2016. Your messages may be emailed to wpdadmin@vil.woodridge.il.us or dropped off at the Woodridge Police Department, located at 1 Plaza Drive. Your name and contact information may be submitted anonymously.
