Woodridge Lifts Parking Restrictions For Labor Day

Commuters will be able to park on village streets overnight during the holiday weekend.

WOODRIDGE, IL - The village of Woodridge will temporarily lift its overnight parking restrictions to accommodate drivers over the Labor Day weekend. The parking restrictions will be lifted as of 2 a.m. Saturday and will go back into effect Tuesday at 2 a.m., village officials said in a Facebook post.

Typically, parking is prohibited on village streets from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., but the village is making an exception for the holiday. Residents who plan to go out of town for the weekend can contact the Woodridge Police Department to set up vacation watch for their homes.
