WOODRIDGE, IL — A Woodridge man has been charged with possessing child pornography following an investigation that started in June. John Bowery, 63, of the 2900 block of Roberts Drive, was arrested Thursday after police reportedly found pornographic images of children on his computer.

In a statement, DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said, "The allegation that Mr. Bowery was in possession of child pornography is revolting. As I have said many times in the past, each of these disgusting images represents yet another innocent victim of child pornography."
