Woodridge to Offer Christmas Tree Recycling Program

Tree recycling will take place the first week of January.

Annual Christmas tree recycling will be collected with regular garbage during the first week of January, according to a newsletter from the City of Woodridge.

Residents can leave Christmas trees on the curb and they will be collected with regular trash during the first two January pickups.

Trees up to 6 feet tall will be accepted. Trees must also be free of wires, lights and should not be in plastic bags.

Evergreen wreaths and garland will not be collected for recycling.
