WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Park District said their staff is evaluating the impact of the state's revised health guidelines regarding fall sports programs and plans to update the community as they sort through the updated information. The new guidelines for all youth and adult recreation sports (including but not limited to) school-based sports (IHSA and IESA), travel clubs, private leagues and clubs, park district sports programs, and recreational leagues and centers, go into effect Aug. 15, the park district said.
According to the park district, participants who are registered for any park district fall sports programs will be contacted in the coming weeks with more information.
The park district added that if certain programs are cancelled as a result of the new guidelines, the park district will issue a refund to those who've registered.
