WOODRIDGE, IL -- Officials on the Woodridge Zoning and Planning Commission will meet soon to review requests to build a car wash and a gas station in the village. Before a vote is taken, the zoning and planning commission will hold a public meeting Monday to review the pros, cons, and logistics surrounding each proposal.

The proposed car wash would be located at 6804 Route 53 on what is currently an empty plot of land. The request, made by Everclean CW, LLC, includes a tunnel-style car wash and a set of vacuums.

Monday's meeting will also review a proposal made by Vequity LLC Series XLV to build a convenience store and gas station at 7500 Janes Ave. The proposed construction would replace what was once a Marathon gas station.
