Woodridge Police Gear Up For 'Cop On A Rooftop' Fundraiser
The annual "Cop on a Rooftop" event will take place from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.on May 17.

WOODRIDGE, IL -- Woodridge Police will spend some time on the rooftop of Dunkin' to raise awareness and funds to benefit Special Olympics Illinois. The annual event will take place from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. at two Dunkin' locations, 2401 W. 75th St. and 1920 87th St.
Woodridge police officers will post up at both locations to greet customers and encourage donations to Special Olympics Illinois. The local event is part of a statewide effort in which cops from police departments throughout Illinois will perch atop Dunkin' stores to raise money that will aid Special Olympics athletes.
