Woodridge Rotary Mini Triathlon Set For Aug. 11
The mini triathlon features races for adults and kids.
WOODRIDGE, IL — Pint-sized and adult athletes alike are already prepping to take part in the Woodridge Rotary Mini Triathlon, set for Aug. 11. The event will be held at Cypress Cove Water Park, with separate race times for grownups and kids.
The adult portion of the triathlon, which is the main event, is scheduled for 7 a.m. Kids will have their chance to challenge each other in and out of the pool during their own mini triathlon race at 10:30 a.m.
Residents are invited to volunteer or to get into the competition themselves. Registration for the mini triathlon is open through Aug. 7.
