Woodridge School District #68 Holds "Oktubafest Concert"
On November 15th the Elementary First and Second Year Bands held a Concert at Jefferson Junior High School

Prior to the Band Concert attendees enjoyed Hot Dogs and all the trimmings catered by the Woodridge Doggie Diner Restaurant. Band Director Bradley Payne demonstrated the various Band teaching methods and facets of what the children have been learning in the First Year Band Program. This included learning rhythms, pitches and simple melodies.
The Second Year Band entertained everyone with four musical selections (Clarinet Caprice, Those Fabulous Flutes, Mystic Legend and March of the Romans).
Funds raised from the sale of the Hot Dogs (over $400) will be used to support the purchase of musical instruments and sheet music for our Woodridge Band students.
