Woodridge To Suspend Water Utility Disconnections, Late Fees

"The COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause an unprecedented impact on our residents and businesses," Woodridge officials said.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge officials announced this week they are one again suspending water disconnections and water late fee penalties until further notice due to COVID-19 Tier 3 mitigations.

"The COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause an unprecedented impact on our residents and businesses, including significant public health, safety, and economic challenges," officials said in a news release. "Access to clean water is vital to public health and helps keep our community safe."

Regular water bills will continue to go out as usual.

Woodridge officials said customers should continue making payments on their accounts to avoid accumulating large balances – even if they cannot pay in full, and may utilize the village's online payment service at this link to make timely payments when possible.
