Woodridge TV Providers Plan Price Hike For 2017

The new prices will take effect Jan. 1.

TV providers serving Woodridge have announced planned price hikes for the new year, the village has announced.

Village representatives said in a release that the local government has no control or regulatory authority over the prices and rates set by cable companies.

The Cable Act of 1984, as well as the Cable Acts of 1992 and 1996, nullified the village’s power over any such regulations, including customer service and how far service is extended.
