Woodridge VFW Post 1578 holds its third annual Brat Fest

VFW Post 1578 held its 3rd Annual Brat Fest on Sunday at Shanahan's Pub in Woodridge. All proceeds will go towards the VFW Scholarship Fund.

Once again, it was a full house for the "All You Can Eat" Brat Fest at Shanahan's Pub in Woodridge during the Bears - Packers football game.

Along with the tasty Brats, the meal included Sauerkraut, Spaetzle and Condiments. Seasonal draft and craft beers were on tap. The dessert was German apple strudel. Regardless of which team you were cheering for - it was a great afternoon to enjoy a great meal and support a worth Scholarship Fund. Bob Reichert thanked Rich Moore, owner of Shanahan's Pub, for allowing the VFW Post to once again host this event.
