Work Closes Hobson Exit On I-355 In Woodridge

WOODRIDGE, IL — Commuters in Woodridge will be seeing some slight delays due to road closures for construction and maintenance work that began Oct. 1. The closures will affect the Hobson Road ramp on southbound I-355 and the bridge on 71st Street.

Village officials say the tollway construction on the Hobson Road ramp will require southbound motorists to take the 75th Street exit as an alternative route. The work on the 71st Street Bridge will close traffic on the bridge in both directions. Motorists are advised to follow detour signs.

Woodridge aims to get these road construction projects wrapped up quickly, so motorists can experience fewer delays.
