Amber Alert Cancelled For 3 Sturgis Children: Police
The children, last seen in Michigan, were abducted by their father and were believed to be in extreme danger, authorities said.
STURGIS, MI — An Amber Alert declared for three Michigan children has been cancelled, Indiana State Police said. According to several reports, the children were found safe. According to Indiana State Police, authorities believe the three children, Matteo Nieves, 4; Chelsey Lopez, 5; and Aldo Cruz, 2, were abducted by their father, Fernando Cruz.

The children were last seen Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018 in Sturgis, Michigan and are believed to be in extreme danger, authorities said. Sturgis is just north of the Michigan-Indiana border.

On Thursday morning, WNDU reported according to Michigan Amber Alert, investigators believe Fernando Cruz's last known location was near Fremont, Ind.
The suspect, Fernando Cruz, is an 37 year old Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes.

The suspect vehicle is a black 2009 Chevy Traverse with Michigan plate DWH9204
