Indiana Boy, 2, Dies After Being Left In Car, Mom Charged
The coroner and town officials believe the death to be heat-related after the Indiana toddler was found unresponsive outside an apartment.

DALEVILLE, IN — A 28-year-old Indiana woman is charged in connection with the death of her toddler son after the boy, 2, was found unresponsive in a vehicle outside the family's apartment building Wednesday evening. Britni Nicole Wihebrink, 28, is charged with neglect of a dependent in the death of her son, Jaxon Stults.

A neighbor made another 911 call telling a dispatcher that Jaxon had been in the car for "hours," according to the Star Press.
An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday, and the Delaware County deputy coroner told the outlet the death was believed to be heat-related.
