Ford Recalls Best Selling F-Series Pickups Due To Door Latch Issues

DETAILS: The 1.3 million Ford F-150 models being recalled by Ford and where to find out if your vehicle is included.

Do you drive a Ford F-series pickup truck? If so, yours might be one of the 1.3 million being recalled by the automaker. Ford is pulling what's been the country's best selling vehicle for decades due to a door latch issue that could allow the truck's door to open unexpectedly while you're driving, CNN reports. But that's not all — the latch can also prevent drivers from opening the door when they need to, according to CNN.

Affected models:

  • Trucks sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico
  • A number of 2015 F-15os (pictured)
  • A number of 2016 F-150s
  • A number of 2017 F-150s
  • A number of 2017 Super Duty pickups
