Indiana University: Man With Gun Apprehended Off Main Campus
The university previously warned that a male with a handgun was reported near East 7th Street and North Indiana Avenue.

BLOOMINGTON, IN — Indiana University says a man with a gun who was seen near the school's main campus in Bloomington is now in police custody. The university tweeted around 5:45 p.m. that the man was found off campus. The campus is returning to normal operations.
The university previously warned that a male with a handgun was reported near East 7th Street and North Indiana Avenue. Residents were told seek safe shelter.
An alert around 5:15 p.m. Sunday told students to lock their doors.

"If you are on campus, take safe shelter in the nearest available room. Lock the door if possible. Avoid windows. Remain in place until further notice. If you are not in the area, please stay away."
The campus bus service said no buses were running until an all-clear notice is given.
