JEFFERSONVILLE, IN — Indiana State Police say a Silver Alert for missing Jeffersonville man Nyle Lew Hepfer has been cancelled. The alert, issued Monday afternoon, surrounded the Jeffersonville Police Department's investigation into Hepfer's Sunday evening disappearance. Indiana State Police report a Silver Alert has been issued as the Jeffersonville Police Department investigates disappearance of man from Jeffersonville. Police say Nyle Lew Hepfer, 66, was last seen Sunday, Oct. 15 at 7:15 p.m. in Jeffersonville and is believed to be in extreme danger. ISP said Hepfer is six feet tall, weighs 270 pounds, has gray hair, green eyes, a rose tattoo on his right forearm and was last seen wearing an orange colored pullover, jeans and white tennis shoes.
