The Indiana Department of Health announced the county’s 401st death of the pandemic on its Tuesday dashboard.
It was one of eight new fatalities recorded across the state.

Eight new infections were tallied in Vanderburgh County for a second straight day.
The county’s number of fully vaccinated residents is approaching 80,000, with 131 added on Tuesday.
16 COVID patients were reported hospitalized in the 12-county district of southwest Indiana.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department added 34 new infections but no new deaths between June 25th and 28th.
Just one COVID patients was reported hospitalized in the seven-county district.
