Carmel Fire Department Will Have COVID-19 Info Booth At Meijer On Friday
Firefighters will be offering free bottles of hand sanitizer and disposable face masks while supplies last.

The Carmel Fire Department has scheduled another COVID-19 information booth to hand out information on virus prevention and safety and answer questions from the public. They will be offering free bottles of hand sanitizer and disposable face masks while supplies last. The type of masks being distributed are similar to what you would find in a doctor’s office waiting room.

CFD will be at Meijer located at 1424 W. Carmel Drive, on Friday March 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The booth will be set up inside the foyer of the east entrance.
During the event, representatives from CFD will be wearing masks and keeping to the physical distancing guidance to avoid possible spread of the virus. The event is open to the public and visitors should also wear masks and maintain proper distance from others as they approach the booth.

The goal of this booth is to provide the community with COVID-19 information, including handouts showing the City of Carmel and Carmel Fire Department “Best Practices” for dealing with the virus.
Plans call for additional booths at other locations in the upcoming weeks.
