Carmel Midtown Plaza's 2nd Anniversary To Be Celebrated May 21-22

Events include music, scavenger hunts and a ping pong demonstration.

Carmel, IN – The City of Carmel will celebrate the second anniversary of the Midtown Plaza opening on Friday, May 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 22, from noon to 3 p.m.

The celebration events will include the following:

Friday, May 21

  • 5 p.m. – Remarks by Mayor Jim Brainard
  • 5:20 – 8 p.m. – Music by Marielle Sellars
  • 5:30 – 7 p.m. – Carmel Fire Department fire truck display and information booth with giveaways

Saturday, May 22

  • Noon – 12:30 p.m. – Carmel Fire Department tiller truck in Midtown
  • 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Carmel Fire Department fire truck display and information booth with giveaways
  • 1 – 1:30 p.m. – Scavenger Hunt 1 (prizes while supplies last)
  • 2 – 2:30 p.m. – Scavenger Hunt 2 (prizes while supplies last)
  • 2:30 p.m. – Ping-pong demonstration

In addition to the weekend events, social media contests are being held on the Midtown Facebook page including daily trivia and a selfie station contest with prizes from Sun King, Fork + Ale House, Java House and Penn and Beech Candle Co.
