Carmel's Meet Me On Main Set For This Weekend

Free St. Patrick's Day craft to-go kits for kids will be available.

The City of Carmel is excited to begin a new three-year partnership with Allied Solutions this weekend as sponsor of many City events, including this month’s Meet Me on Main. The Saturday evening gallery walk will feature the love of art experienced in shades Irish green, along with virtual interviews and a special online gallery of art to celebrate National Disability Awareness Month.

Meet Me on Main occurs the second Saturday of every month from 5 - 9 p.m. and features “to go” art projects, online gift card giveaways and special offerings at many Arts & Design District shops.

If you’re planning to venture out to Main Street, don’t forget to bring the kids to the Chocolate Café for the complimentary St. Patrick’s Day craft.

This fun “to go” art craft will be available from 5 - 8:30 p.m. while supplies last. (43 W. Main Street)

You are still urged to wear a mask as you enter galleries and stores or when you are walking in a crowded group.

Please try to maintain proper physical distancing as well.

If you’re not quite ready to venture out to an event, but still want to experience the District, you can tune in to the Carmel Arts & Design District’s Facebook for virtual interviews with Matt Nichols from Carmel Chocolate Café, John Einsfeld with SubZero and Diane Cannon with Juniper on Main.

Interviews will be streamed at 5 p.m. on the District’s Facebook page.

Celebrate National Disability Awareness Month with us virtually this month!
Visit the Carmel Arts Council’s website to view the amazing artists’ contributions to the virtual gallery, including “Wonder,” by the artist Emily.

The Meet Me on Main monthly giveaway will be hosted on the District’s Facebook page. Each month, three $100 gift cards to businesses in the District are given away.

Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery
A hot flame, a lot of talent and a great eye for design is the winning combination Fran Carrico uses to create her delicate glass jewelry. “I try to capture themes of nature in my pieces, as well as that range of glass color,” says the artist from Pendleton. “We are surrounded by nature’s beauty in our Indiana countryside and I try to interpret that in glass.” Meet Fran and be mesmerized as she creates wearable art at Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery (22 N. Evan Lurie Gallery
The Evan Lurie Gallery will be featuring two boutiques! Come check out Karma Candles & Kinds and Carter Greenwalt Jewelry. The gallery also has a Red Price Sale on several works of art! (30 W. Main Street)

Carmel Art on Main
Carmel Art on Main will host the "Emerging Artists Show," showcasing student work by gallery artists and instructors Randall Scott Harden, Deb Slack and Nancy Keating. The gallery is also pleased to announce the permanent addition of emerging artist Marcie Couet and accomplished blown and fused glass artist Lisa Pelo.

The gallery continues to feature the works of approximately 20 Indiana artists including jewelry, pottery, fine art photography, purses, textiles, greeting cards, candles, soaps and more. (111 W. Main Street, Suite 140)

CCA Gallery

March featured artists include Susan Bertocci (Contemporary Expressionist) and Jennifer Barnett (Illustration Artist). The gallery also extends a warm welcome to the newest gallery member, Cathy Patrick, an interior designer whose talents spill over into the world of painting. All Things Carmel

Time to celebrate the green of St. Patrick’s Day with several new seasonal offerings at the store, where they feature local artists and crafters who produce exclusive gift items for sale. In conjunction with the Carmel Brews & Barrels Trail, the store will be sampling some of the best Danny Boy brews along with some assorted snacks. (110 W Main Street, Suite 104)
