26-year-old Jackson and 54-year-old Monroe were killed by Manuel Orrego-Savala, 37, when he crashed a black Ford F-150 pickup truck into the rear of the car driven by Monroe, hitting both men. Monroe was driving Jackson when the Colts player became ill, and both stepped out of the car on the side of I-70 just west of Holt Road before the incident occurred.

Indiana State Police say Orrego-Savala was arrested after fleeing the scene and is being held in the Marion County jail while the police work with U.S. federal immigration officials.

Donations to the scholarship fund can be made online at www.colts.com/memorial or by mail at the Edwin Jackson Memorial Scholarship, c/o Indianapolis Colts Foundation, P.O. Box 535000, Indianapolis, IN 46253.
