Body of Missing Westfield Woman Found In Car In Indiana Pond
Westfield woman Nancy Gillett had been missing since Feb. 26 before her body was found inside a car in an Indianapolis area pond: Report

WESTFIELD, IN -- AP News reports authorities say the body of a woman who was reported missing Feb. 26 has been found dead inside her car in an Indianapolis-area retention pond. A Statewide Silver Alert issued Feb. 28 for 73-year-old Nancy Gillett of Westfield was cancelled on Tuesday, the same day the Westfield Police Department say the car was found and the Hamilton County coroner's office identified her, AP News reports.
Gillett's family said she might have been going to a hospital to see her husband when she disappeared.
According to AP News, Gillett's death is under investigation, although no signs of foul play were reported at her home. WTHR reports she left behind her cellphone.

WESTFIELD, IN -- A Statewide Silver Alert issued Feb. 28, 2o18 for a missing Westfield woman has been cancelled, Indiana State Police report. The alert for 73-year-old Nancy S. Gillett was cancelled Tuesday just after 5 p.m. For more information on this cancellation, please contact the Westfield Police Department at 317-773-1282.
