Five New Nonstop Flights Out Of Indy Airport

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Less than one week after Allegiant Air's inaugural nonstop flight to Charleston, the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) says four more nonstop flights are departing from the airport's gates this week. IND says these nonstop flights include Allegiant’s inaugural flight to the Sarasota-Bradenton area in Florida, Southwest and Frontier's flights to Austin and one to Philadelphia via Frontier Airlines.

Southwest's inaugural flight to Austin, Texas launched on Sunday, April 8, while Frontier's nonstop flight to Philadelphia launched Monday, April 9.

IND's Inaugural nonstop Frontier flight to Austin happens on Tuesday, April 10, while the first Sarasota-Bradenton nonstop flight will depart Wednesday, April 11.

Allegiant's nonstop flight to Charleston launched Friday, April 6 and will continue to do so twice a week on Mondays and Fridays seasonally from April to October.

Similar to the nonstop Charleston flight, Allegiant's Sarasota-Bradenton nonstop flight will depart Indianapolis twice per week.

IND says Frontier's seasonal nonstop service to Philadelphia will depart Indianapolis on Mondays and Fridays and the airline's flight to Austin will depart out of Indy on Tuesdays and Fridays.

IND says the Southwest flight to Austin will run year-round and nonstop service will depart out of Indianapolis on Sundays.

Indianapolis Airport Authority officials say with these nonstop destinations launching this week, there are 51 nonstop destinations now available out of IND connecting Hoosiers to places throughout the U.S., Caribbean and Europe beginning May 2018.

IND officials say until recently, Austin also was one of the airport’s top five unserved markets, but now three airlines fly nonstop to the Texas city from IND.
