WTHR says police confirmed detectives arrested 24-year-old Lawon Browning on Saturday in the murder of 30-year-old Jessica Whitehouse, who was shot and killed in Nov. 2016 inside her home in the 4300 block of North Norwaldo Avenue. Her boyfriend was the one who found her, WTHR reports.
Whitehouse's family has been raising money to solve this case and have been hanging flyers, WTHR reports.
According to the news report, Whitehouse's mother says DNA left at the crime scene ultimately led to the arrest, as she's confident the right person is in custody.
