Indiana 13th Least Educated State: Study

Indiana is the 38th most educated state in the country, according to a recent study by WalletHub. The study focused on 15 metrics to measure how educated an area is split into two categories.

WalletHub's data includes factors like educational attainment, school quality and achievement gaps between genders and races. All of this data was complied into two groups: educational attainment and quality of education.

Massachusetts took the top spot in the study, placing first in both of the major categories. Mississippi ranked last, placing No. 49 and 50 in attainment and quality, respectively, according to WalletHub.

Indiana, however, came in place 40 in attainment and 17 in quality of education, WalletHub says. They list out their study methodology in the link below.
