Indianapolis Cake Bake Shop On Upcoming Oprah's 'O' List

It's already been a sweet start to 2018 for the Indianapolis-based Cake Bake Shop as a one of the most famous people in the world and a popular food guide company have included the business in their publications. According to Cake Bake Shop Oprah Winfrey has chosen the 6515 Carrollton Avenue business to be on her 'O' List, and they've also been mentioned on the Best Food Indianapolis Best Food Feed.

The shop's owner and creator, Gwendolyn Rogers, posted the exciting news on Cake Bake Shop's Facebook page Tuesday: "We are starting the 2018 year right! I am excited to announce we have been chosen by Oprah to be on her 'O' List! Issue hits stands February 27th. :)Thank you Oprah!"

The 'O' List on Oprah.com and magazine feature's current hot spots, and essentially Oprah's favorite things, topics, places and more.

Also announced Tuesday, Cake Bake Shop's recognition from Best Food Indianapolis: "We are proud to have been mentioned on Best Food Indianapolis. Thank you for showing our Duchess Cake made up of three layers of vanilla cake with rich & creamy chocolate frosting," posted on the shop's social media.

The bakery, dessert shop and cafe was founded in 2010 and has dedicated staff members, including a culinary team that bakes homemade creations every day enjoyed by locals, Indy visitors and several A-list celebrities. With a menu full of bubbly drinks, lattes, pies (pictured above), cakes, brunch and lunch items and more, there's a reason why Rogers' shop is recognized world-wide.

Other Cake Bake Shop accolades include Best Bakery Indy's A-List 2016, Certificate of Excellence TripAdvisor, featured on Food Network, 'Home & Family', Indy Monthly.

Cake Bake Shop will have even more guests and award-winning features once the second location opens in the Carmel City Center during Fall 2018.
