HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — Indiana University Health will dedicate its first urgent care center in Hamilton County on Tuesday, Oct. 3, as part of a celebration taking place following the center's Aug. 15, 2017 opening, IU Health reports. A ribbon-cutting dedication ceremony will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon, during the grand opening celebration which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The new urgent care center opened last month on the Carmel and Noblesville border at Hazel Dell Parkway and 146th Street.

IU Health said their officials and other local officials will be on hand for the celebrations, which include children's activities such as a face painter, coloring, a Teddy Bear clinic, "Poke A Pumpkin," snow cones, snacks and drinks.

The new Hamilton County urgent care center location is a new option for residents to obtain highly-skilled immediate care, according to IU Health, and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
