Naked Tchopstix Opening New Carmel, Indianapolis Restaurants

CARMEL, IN -- Fans of local sushi business Naked Tchopstix will soon have another place to enjoy the Japanese cuisine as a new location will soon open in Carmel. Indianapolis Business Journal reports Naked Tchopstix's owner David Lee is expanding following a recently opened north-side Indianapolis restaurant and another opening early next month at 365 W. 116th St. IBJ says it's taking the space formerly occupied by Coalition Pizza + Wine.

Lee said he's had a "soft opening" for Naked Tchopstix Express at 2902 W. 86th St. and a grand opening is planned for later this month.

IBJ says that spot and the upcoming Carmel location will have a slightly different menu from the E. 96th St. location, including traditional Japanese cuisine and what Lee calls "Asian pizza" thanks to the large oven in the kitchen from the former pizza place occupant.

The 96th street spot, a Fort Wayne location and the two new ones make a total of four Naked Tchopstix locations.
