Purdue Football Great Bob DeMoss Dies
Purdue football legend Bob DeMoss passed away Sunday at the age of 90.

CARMEL, IN - The Purdue University community and the Boilermaker football family are taking to Twitter in remembrance of the university's former stand-out quarterback and coach, Bob DeMoss, who passed away Sunday at age 90. Purdue Football's Twitter account @BoilerFootball tweeted the news just before 6 p.m. Sunday: "We lost one of the most loyal Boilermakers ever today. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the DeMoss family. #OriginalMemeberOfTheCradleOfQBs."
Shortly after that, Jeff Brohm, head coach for Purdue football, tweeted a message and photo from his Twitter account @JeffBrohm: "Our thoughts are with the family of @BoilerFootball great Bob DeMoss. DeMoss was Purdue's quarterback from 1945 through 1948, followed by a 42-year career (1950-1992) at the university as an assistant coach, head coach and assistant athletics director, as reported by purduesports.com. The site said DeMoss is survived by his wife, three children, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
