CARMEL, IN — The holiday season comes with busy schedules, several events and sometimes more holly and jolly than you can handle. However, Hamilton County has released their lineup of holiday happenings weeks before Thanksgiving, so you can plan and schedule as much festive fun as you and your family and friends can take.

Holiday at Center Green

Carmel's holiday season starts with the grand opening of two new holiday attractions: the Carmel Christkindlmarkt and the Ice at Center Green. Join Santa, his elves and reindeer as the city of Carmel hosts a ceremonial tree lighting.

Holiday in the Arts District

Shop the galleries and stores in the Carmel Arts & Design District to find the perfect gift for that special someone, as carolers roam about and carriage rides pass by. If all that shopping makes you hungry, there’s no shortage of food and drink options along Main Street in Carmel.

Westfield in Lights

Celebrate the season during this downtown Westfield tradition with photos with Santa and Frosty the Snowman, reindeer petting, live entertainment and a tree lighting.

Holiday Porchfest

Carmel's annual, popular September music event returns with a holiday twist. Local musicians and carolers perform holiday music on neighborhood porches in the Carmel Arts & Design District.

Festive Fun in the New Year

Visit Hamilton County invites all to ring in 2018 at the Palladium's New Year's Eve Extravaganza. The Ice at Center Green in Carmel and the Federal Hill Commons Ice Plaza remain open past Jan. 1.
