Vroom Now Hiring Workers For New Local Facility

WHITESTOWN, IN — Vroom Indianapolis is looking to hire more than 75 workers after opening a new 500,000 square-foot reconditioning and fulfillment center in Whitestown. An upcoming hiring event for the national online car retailer will take place Saturday, Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new Vroom location, 5300 Performance Way, Whitestown. The company says those who aren't able to attend this event can come to walk-in interviews every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The company says the new location is Vroom's third facility in the country, which provides faster delivery of cars to local customers. Vroom is looking to fill several positions including mechanics, inspectors, auto detailers, lot attendants and more, the company said in a release. These new employees will join the company's 750 employees across multiple states including New York and Texas, as Vroom's other two facilities are in the Dallas and Houston areas.

The Whitestown location is used to recondition, store and deploy 2,500 cars as part of Vroom's thorough reconditioning process, as the company says it delivers cars to customers in all 50 states.
