With COVID-19 cases declining and vaccinations on the rise, Deaconess officials decided it’s time for former COVID patients and their caregivers to get together as both groups work to get past the trauma the disease caused for patients and staff.
In a release, Deaconess officials say nearly three thousand former patients are invited to attend an event from 1-3pm central time at Bosse Field on Sunday, July 25. That’s for patients hospitalized for COVID-19 at Deaconess Midtown or Gateway Hospitals. Another event will be held at Deaconess Henderson Hospital from 4-5pm that day.
