Miller Pease Receives Sagamore Of The Wabash Honor

The CEO of Leadership Everyone was surprised with one of Indiana’s highest honors Thursday evening.

At the close of the group’s annual meeting, newly elected Leadership Everyone board president Alex Schmitt did the honors.

“So, Lynn, from the Governor of Indiana, the Sagamore of the Wabash.”

Chief Executive Officer Lynn Miller Pease was surprised to learn that she was being awarded one of the state’s most prestigious honors. A bit out of character, Miller Pease was speechless.

“Wow. I don’t know what to say.”

The Sagamore of the Wabash designation was created in the 1940’s, during the administration of Governor Ralph Gates.

Voting is underway for a new Evansville city flag.

For the first time, Henderson County Democrats will be led by a woman.

A peace tree has been planted in Downtown Evansville.
