The OPD says 24-year-old Juwan Cotton of Owensboro faces charges of First-Degree Assault and Robbery.
In a release, police said officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 600 block of Orchard Street Sunday evening.

They found a 33-year-old man with a single gunshot wound.
He was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with what police called “potentially life-threatening” injuries.
Police did not release his identity.
An investigation led officers to Cotton, who was lodged in the Daviess County Jail.
