Accept Sheriff's Office Dodgeball Challenge To Support Local Kids

Make a team and enter Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Shop for Kids Dodge, Duck, and Dip Dodgeball Challenge to give back to local kids.

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has a few questions for you: Do you have what it takes? Do you seek the thrill of victory? Do you dare to step onto the court? If you answered to any of these, the sheriff's office said "the gauntlet has been thrown down" for you to enter the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Shop for Kids Dodge, Duck, and Dip Dodgeball Challenge on April 27 at Hamilton Heights High School.

According to a release, the double-elimination tournament will "test the skills of all those who dare to enter" while also supporting a worthwhile cause; providing support for the less-fortunate youth of Hamilton County.

Shop for Kids provides numerous area youth in need of assistance with a $200 shopping trip during the holiday season, according to a release, adding that support is raised throughout the year to fund the $10,000 needed to finance the program.

The sheriff's office said the entry fee for the Shop for Kids Dodgeball Challenge is $100 for a team of six, with special sponsorship options at the $250 and $500 levels.
