Beauty Brands Closing Fishers, Central Indiana Stores

FISHERS, IN — Three central Indiana Beauty Brands store locations are part of the 25 stores closing nationwide very soon, the Missouri-based retailer announced, according to Inside INdiana Business. According to the news report, the company's locations in Carmel, Fishers and Greenwood are affected by the decision Beauty Brands Chief Executive Officer Caryn Lerner said comes as the company continues trying to "combat industry headwinds."

The other affected stores are located in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma and Texas, but 33 stores with locations in 10 states will stay open.

According to Inside INdiana Business, Lerner said in a statement the company will be reducing staff in their headquarters office, and that they've communicated with all the impacted employees there, thanking them for their hard work and dedication.
