Dozens Of Pets Find Homes: Humane Society For Hamilton County

Here's how you can support the Humane Society for Hamilton County.

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — More than 50 dogs and cats found their "furever" home during the Clear the Shelters event on Aug. 17 at Humane Society for Hamilton County (see post at bottom).

Couldn't make it out to Clear the Shelters but would like to attend future events? Woofstock is coming up on Oct. 5, featuring adoptable dogs, live concert, food trucks, beer and wine garden, and much more.

There are still many ways to help out the local shelter:

We are proud to participate in the annual NBC National Clear the Shelters event this Saturday. We not only serve the animals in Hamilton County, but we also save over 200 animals a year from shelters all over Indiana each year - animals slated for euthanasia.

When our shelter is full, we are not able to provide those animals with a second chance.

Please, join us this weekend so we can give the over 250 cats and nearly 100 dogs in our care the forever home they've been dreaming of... And, a second chance to the dozens of pets across Indiana looking to HSHC to live, love and be loved.
