Fishers Boo Bash: Traffic Restrictions, New Location

MORE: The City of Fishers announces different location and contest updates for this year's Boo Bash Halloween event.

FISHERS, IN — The City of Fishers says Boo Bash is back - but at a new location. Presented by Johnson Jensen LLP, the family-friendly Boo Bash will be 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 on the Central Green in the Nickel Plate District, due to construction at the Amp. According to the City of Fishers, this Halloween Village will feature safe trick-or-treating, games and more, and is free for all.

The city is offering a new Sensory Friendly Hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for children with special needs.

More than 60 local businesses will have trick-or-treat booths for children to visit, and parents will have the opportunity to learn about goods and services available in the Fishers community.

The city says there will be complementary refreshments for the first 1,000 people.

Please note several road restrictions and closures towards the end of this week for downtown Fishers Halloween festivities.

Also - an update for annual costume contest participants. Contest goers can now submit photos of their costume online as part of a public vote before the Oct. 27 event. The best costumes will be awarded based on the votes on the Fishers Parks & Recreation Facebook page. The city says the winners of the costume contest will be announced at Boo Bash.

Don't forget to tag your participation photos during and after the event on social media with #FishersBooBash for a chance to win a prize for the best event photo.
