FISHERS, IN -- In a release sent to Patch, Fishers Parks & Recreation announce this year's summer camps, saying registration for all the 2018 Summer Camp programs open Thursday, March 1 at 8:30 a.m. for residents, and Monday, April 2 at 8:30 a.m. for non-residents. According to Fishers Parks & Recreation, campers can choose between many different nature and recreation summer camps this summer, each focusing on different and exciting themes, activities and games. Even better, they're also excited to announce that new this year, full-day options are available for some of the camps.
Fishers Parks & Recreation notes that children can attend one camp, or as many camps as your family would like.

- Register Online - Registering for an account may take up to 2 days, so please register your account in advance. Please bring your registration form with emergency contact information with you one week prior to the start of camp.
- In person - Register at the Fishers Parks & Recreation office anytime Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays).
According to Fishers Parks & Recreation, they also offer free or reduced summer camp rates for HSE Schools students who are enrolled in the free or reduced lunch program. Visit fishers.in.us for information on how to be eligible.

- Unique, themed camp each week including sports, water, outdoor exploration, nature, art, crafts, science, pottery, and other interests.
- T-shirt per registered camp, to be worn each day of camp.
- Engagement in age-appropriate activities and crafts daily.
- Outstanding counselor-to-camper ratios.
- Procedures to ensure camper's safety, including medical forms on-site and photo identification requirements for sign-out.
