Whether you’ve been to Four Day Ray Brewing or haven’t made the short trip to 11671 Lantern Road, it’s worth it. FDR’s founder and president, Brian Graham, along with Chris Welsh, Mitch Ackerman and Matt Troyer have created a brewery and restaurant with a big selection of craft beer, wine, food and cocktails all created in-house, for every palette.

While giving FDR-goers a great brewery and dining experience, Graham and his team also give to a local charity each month through their weekly Tapped for a Cause event. Each Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., 50 cents from each order of FDR’s featured beer goes towards that month’s charity.

That’s because Graham and the FDR team are big advocates of donating to local charities, auctions and hosting events. FDR’s indoor and outdoor architectural area are the perfect spot for eating, drinking, socializing, enjoying live music (which comes back next month on their aesthetically-pleasing patio), or hosting events like FDR’s summertime 5k for the Humane Society, it’s all happening at the brewery.

“Three of the four owners are Fishers residents,” Graham said. “We really want to be a staple of the community and show that by giving back and partnering with the city.”

So whether or not you win this gift card and growler, head out to FDR and help Graham and the team support the community. While you’re at it, enjoy half-price wine bottles and $5 glasses of wine, starting next month, Tapped for a Cause on Tuesdays, live music on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting in May and other exciting, upcoming happenings.

“We’re going to be rolling out a new menu in the next month or so, with new items as we’re trying to keep our menu fresh,” Graham said. “We’re also in the process of updating our website, where a lot of our local partners will be named.”

Next month FDR will release their blueberry blonde beer, which will kick off a “Fruit Blonde” beer series taking place all summer, with each fruit beer staying on tap for two weeks at a time.

“We’re interested in providing a craft wine and craft cocktail experience because not everyone likes beer,” Graham said. “We sell a lot of wine for being a brewery. I just want people to have a good experience.”
