HSE Schools Responds To Student's Blackface Post On Social Media
Thousands respond to the post that's been shared across social media.

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — Comments are still pouring in on a social media post that's been shared thousands of times, as it appears to show a high school student from Hamilton Southeastern Schools wearing blackface after getting into an argument with a classmate. Hamilton Southeastern Schools recently issued a statement, in which school officials said they are aware of the social media activities and that "HSE does not condone such behavior by any member of our school community."
"The use of racially-offensive language or behavior in our schools by anyone does not reflect our values as a district and will not be tolerated," the statement said. Read the full statement below.
Facebook users have been commenting minute by minute since Sept. 1, when The African American Community's Facebook page shared the student's apparent blackface photos and post.
