Officials Identify 2 HSE Teachers Found Dead After Recent Split
Authorities identify Hamilton Southeastern teachers found dead in Fishers home Wednesday evening.

FISHERS, IN — Fishers Police Department released the names of the man and woman found dead Wednesday at a Fishers home. Fishers police said they're continuing to investigate the deaths of 44-year-old Kristal Sergi and 52-year-old Frank Sergi II, identified by the Hamilton County Coroner's Office, after their bodies were found inside a home on Dorster Street, at 131st and Pennington Drive.
The loss of the "two beloved teachers" from Fall Creek Intermediate and Hoosier Road Elementary teachers are being mourned by the Hamilton Southeastern School District, Dr. Allen Bourff, Superintendent of HSE Schools, said.
Fishers police said just before 6 p.m. Wednesday officers responded to the Saxony Neighborhood after a 911 caller reported hearing possible gunshots coming from the area. When they arrived, police said officers determined the noise had come from a home in the 13000 block of Dorster Street, and found the bodies of two adults when they entered the home.

Based on evidence and information up to this point, detectives believe the two adults are the only people directly involved in this incident, police said.
According to WXIN, court records show the pair filed for divorce in August, and neighbors said the wife Kristal no longer lived at the home which went up for sale that same month.
A family friend of the duo said he and others got a text message from Frank, that said to look after the couple’s kids, along with phone numbers to call.
Patch obtained a statement released by HSE Schools Wednesday night:
"It is with great sadness that we have learned of the sudden passing of two longtime staff members during an incident Wednesday evening. Fishers Police Department is leading the investigation, and we will be supporting them in their efforts. We are currently working through our district's Crisis Response Team, which includes mental health professionals, to provide much-needed support during this difficult time."
A cause of death is expected to be released Friday.
Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact Detective/Lieutenant Todd Crowder at 317-595-3329.
