Sponsor A HSHC Shelter Pet In Someone's Honor For Valentine's Day

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN — Valentine's Day is Thursday, Feb. 14, which means there are a couple days left to share your heart by sponsoring the care of an animal at the Humane Society for Hamilton County. According to the shelter, a $25 Valentine's Sponsorship Gift in honor or memory of someone special will help fund the daily care of a sponsored shelter pet in February. As part of that gift, a heart ornament will brighten the kennel or cage of your sponsored pet and will acknowledge your special someone, the shelter said.

The shelter will also email you a photo of the ornament and sponsored pet to send your Valentine, by request.

Want to adopt? The Humane Society for Hamilton County's Featured 14 have adoption specials of just $14 in February. Seven eligible dogs and seven cats with dating profiles are featured throughout February, and according to the shelter, two of the 14 have found their forever homes, and 12 are still waiting.
