Allstate Agents earn $11,000 for Crown Point’s St. Jude House
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to help victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse and their children
CROWN POINT, Indiana., Nov. 30, 2017 – Allstate agency owners from Northwest Indiana area recently came together to secure an $11,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit St. Jude House. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to provide quality, compassionate and effective services to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual abuse.
The agency owners earned the grant for St. Jude House by sprucing up the Crown Point shelter, which included work to arrange and clean the children’s area, organize clothing donations and improve the shelter’s outdoor spaces. St. Jude House will use the $11,000 grant to further its work in the community.
