Crash On I-80/94 Near Cline Slows Commute From Northwest Indiana
A crash on I-80/I-94 in the westbound lanes near Cline Avenue has heightened travel times into Illinois.

GARY, IN - Travel times for Northwest Indiana commuters heading into Chicago Tuesday morning are at significant highs after a crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80/94 near Cline Avenue. Several television stations shared the news on Twitter around 6:30 a.m. A WGN-Traffic report indicates travel times have increased from 45 minutes up to an hour between I-80/I-90 and the Illinois State Line.

WBBM Traffic reported "heavy delays" around 7 a.m. as the crash was taking up two lanes of westbound traffic heading into Chicago. A tow truck was at the scene before 7:30 a.m.

It was not immediately known whether the crash resulted in any injuries.
