Plane Slides Off Runway In Michigan City
The incident happened early Wednesday in LaPorte County.

MICHIGAN CITY, IN — A twin-engine jet slid of a runway, crashed through a fence and came to rest in a field outside Michigan City Airport, the LaPorte County Sheriff's Office said. The incident happened just before 7 a.m., NBC Chicago Reported.
The pilot and a passenger aboard the plane were treated for minor injuries, police said.
The plane reportedly overshot the runway during landing and crashed through a fence, slid across a highway and through a guardrail before winding up in a nearby field.
