Hot Blooded at the Horseshoe
Live review and photo gallery from Foreigner's show at The Venue at the Horseshoe Casino on Saturday.
Although casino trips are usually unpredictable, classic rock fans lucked out this weekend after Foreigner delivered an exciting performance at Hammond’s Horseshoe Casino.
On tour celebrating their 40th anniversary, the group took the spotlight on stage at The Venue on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd.
The six guys of Foreigner all boasted a great deal of energy and enthusiasm from the moment they hit the stage, opening with "Double Vision” before carrying into "Head Games”.

Kelly Hansen, lead singer, even made his way into the crowd three songs in during “Cold As Ice", shaking hands and giving out hugs to fans on the floor.
Following a drum solo, keyboard solo, along with number of other 80’s anthems including “Urgent” and “Juke Box Hero”, adults singing in Chicago’s Tower Chorale joined Foreigner on stage for an encore, slowing things down with “I Want to Know What Love Is”.

Soon after, Kelly Hansen went on to heat up the room again with “Hot Blooded”, which has become a ritualistic end to Foreigner’s powerful set.
The band will be back in the area again on April 7, 2018 for a show at the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI. Tickets to that show are available here. For additional tour dates, visit Foreigner's website.
